Social Health Authority (SHA)

The Social Health Authority (SHA), formerly known as the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF), is a government agency responsible for providing health insurance coverage to all registered members and their declared dependents (spouse and children).

Membership in SHA is mandatory for individuals employed in the formal sector. For retirees and those working in the informal sector, enrollment is voluntary. All Kenyan citizens aged 18 and above who earn a monthly income of more than Ksh 1,000 are eligible to join the scheme.

Monthly contributions are made by employers on behalf of their employees, while self-employed individuals are required to remit their contributions directly.

National Social Security Fund

NSSF is a National Social Security Fund that provides basic financial security benefits to Kenyans upon retirement. It is for all Kenyan workers in both the formal and informal sectors. Every employer who, under a contract of service, employs one employee or more shall register with the Fund as a contributing employer and shall, register his employee or employees, as members of the Fund.

We collaborate with employers to help them have their employees fully registered as NSSF/NHIF members. Compute the figures (for accounts not computed) and then make the remittances to the respective funds.
